Love & Joy Ambassadors

The Love & Joy Ambassadors are a select group of volunteers serving within the Homestead Art in the Park volunteer team with a dual purpose: to support the event through service and hospitality, and to quietly serve as ambassadors of love, joy, and Christ.

While operating fully as event volunteers, Love & Joy Ambassadors are prayerfully embedded throughout the park to build genuine connections with attendees, lead with kindness, and reflect the love of Christ through their actions, presence, and service. Their role is not one of public or direct evangelism, but of relational outreach—serving people well, creating safe and welcoming moments, offering encouragement, prayer when invited, and meaningful conversation.

Because Homestead Art in the Park is a City-supported, grant-funded event, Love & Joy Ambassadors do not engage in overt evangelism during the event. Instead, they serve as a hospitality-focused outreach presence, allowing love, joy, and service to open the door for connection, compassion, and hope—trusting the Holy Spirit to guide each interaction.

This initiative is a philanthropic spin-off inspired by work led by the HAITP Event Producer and Artwalk Presents Co-Founder, alongside her twin girls, to spread love and joy.
